What to Expect at a Veterinary Appointment
Knowing what you can expect from your first appointment with our vets will help to make the process more pleasant for both you and for your pet.
We ask that new clients arrive about 10 minutes early to their pet's first appointment with us to give them time to fill out our New Patient Form. To save a bit of time, you can also complete the New Patient Form online in advance.
Meet Your Veterinarian
One of the members of our veterinary team will review your pet's history and speak with you about their issues. You can also ask any questions you want and we will dedicate time to answering them.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and options for treatment. Your veterinarian will work with you to determine a treatment plan for your pet.
After your appointment, we will create a detailed report of our diagnosis, any discussion we had, and the treatment plan we created for your pet. We will keep this information on hand for our reference.
